| Job Duties: | Drafts electrical equipment working drawings and wiring diagrams used for electrical construction and repairs for industrial, comercial and residential buildings. Knowledge in Auto CADD operations is required. Prepares working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches and notes for engineering, manufacturing and construction purposes according to dimensional and technical specifications. Calculates and lay out dimensions, angles, curves, curvature of parts, materials to be used utilizing knowledge of enigeering practices, mathematics,building materials, manufacturing technology and related physical sciences. Creates preliminary and final sketch of proposed drawing using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment. Modifies drawings as directed by electrical engineers and managers. Ability to interpret and/or comprehend standard electrical symbols, methods and terminology with minimal supervision from engineers and managers. Mandatory experience in implementation of complex spreadsheets, word processing and network related functions is essential. Creates, compiles, stores and retireves data using computer and various software. |
