| Job Duties: | Prepare and cook food for restaurant patrons. Clean food preparation areas, facilities and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices such as first in first out regulation. Receive orders from wait staff. Check quality of food & supplies. Assess kitchen equipment if functioning properly.Weigh, measure and mix ingredients. Create new recipes and menus according to season and holidays. Check stocks and list down ingredients to be purchased. Coordinate with restaurant Manager & accounting staff on raising prices. Participate in food inventory duties. Talk to restaurant patrons if requested. Receive and settle complaints from patrons, if any. Prepare kitchen working schedule.Supervise kitchen help.Attend BEH inspections. |
