| Job Duties: | These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary. Serves as a foreperson for multiple crews to include assigning and monitoring work and providing technical direction. Prepares daily schedules and submits for approval. Performs inspections of projects to ensure crews are performing quality work, following safety procedures, and following CUC policies. Performs inventory spot checks on tools, parts and materials; processes requisitions for necessary tools, parts and materials. Prepares and submits weekly and monthly reports. Provides technical advice and performs journey level operations, installations and/or repairs in service area assigned. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High School Diploma, or G.E.D., and four years of journey-level experience at the level of a Trades Technician, or comparable experience related to the area assigned, including one year of experience leading a crew. Knowledge of: Principles and procedures of service area assigned; Inspection and troubleshooting principles; Preventative maintenance principles; Inventory control principles. Basic mathematics. Skill in: Prioritizing and assigning work to staff; Preparing daily schedules; Preparing cost and materials estimates; Performing preventative maintenance; Performing journey level maintenance and installations in service area; Performing site inspections and recognizing problem areas; Using computers and related software applications; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
