| Job Duties: | Instructs children from 0 to 6 yrs. old in age appropriate activities designed to promote social, emotional, physical, & intellectual growth in day care setting using mixture approach of Montesorri principles/methods. Attends to children's basic needs including feeding, dressing, changing diapers, and safety. Establishes and enforces rules for behavior and maintaining orderliness. Resourceful enough to provide a variety of materials and resources for practical, manipulative, sensorial, and intellectual activities. Prepares daily lesson plans and yearly planned activities. Observes & evaluates chilren's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Meets with parents to discuss childrens' progress, needs, development, and areas for improvement. Meets with potential customers and discusses services offered and promotes school. Administers the day to day function of the daycare and staff assistants. Other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Has BS in Elementary Education. Has at least 8 years teaching experience, with at least 5 of it is of teaching 0 to 6 years old. Must have at least one year teaching experience in a pre-school using Montessorri principles/methods. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Respectful, gracious, kind, calm, and warmth to children. Requires long hours to be on their feet and constantly moving. Has good planning and organizational skills. Has good work ethics, integrity, and dependable. Compose even dealing with difficult behavior. Works well with others. Creative and can work independently. Must have PSS/DCCA daycare/preschool required training and certifications on health and safety, CPR, ECERS, Motheread/Fatheread. |
