| Job Duties: | Welds metal components, fabricates, assembles, installs and repair metal products, machineries and equipment such as machine parts, plant equipment, and ship structures, piping and facilities. Using brazing and variety of ARC, GAS, TIG, MIG, and ALUMINUM/COPPER welding and technical procedures. Perform related task such as thermal cutting, set up, and operates equipment and machines, such as shears, breaker, bending/ roller, punch, and drill press to cut, bend, straighten metal sheets, bars, and pipes. Perform any combination of the following duties; set up hoist, unite girders, columns, and other steel members to form a complete or structure frameworks. Work as member of a crew. Weld piping systems of various specs, diameter and thickness, set up and operate hoisting tools and equipment. Must pass work/project performance evaluation standards test, to meet certification and customer standards. |
