| Job Duties: | Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in purchasing and distributing electrical materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies. Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems & procedures. Reviews the purchase order for accuracy of product description, quantity and price. Ensures that all purchases conforms with the U.L. list requirement for the safety of buyers or customers. Must have knowledge in electrical, including the different kinds of items and their functions. Evaluates the sample of electrical items sent by vendor or manufacturer before recommending for purchase. Monitors monthly product turn over to figure out which items are fast selling and needs to be ordered in huge quantity. May need to constantly communicate with vendors from China, Korea, and U.S. to keep track of order status, shipment and payment schedule. May do other related duties. |
