Job Title: Assistant Director - Butler Services
Job Duties: •To ensure the service team is managed efficiently according to the established concept statement and adhere to Hotel’s policy and procedure •Ensure all policies and procedures are consistently applied to day to day operation •Responsible to recruit •To assist with the preparation of the annual plan •Ensure divisional objective fully concurring with the business objectives of the hotel and needs of employees •To assist with the preparation and regular update of the budget, in close cooperation with the management ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled •Assist in developing and maintaining written policy and procedures for Butler Services and activities with other related units •To ensure employees comply and have a complete understanding of the rules and regulations •Ensure employees adhere to all security procedures and practices and follow grooming standards •To effectively communicate guiding principles and core values to all level of employees •Oversee department administration and paperwork •Coordinate and monitor the preparation of department operating expenses •Create departmental training plans and write operating procedures for Butler Services •Supervise, direct and lead the team to achieve department goals •Conduct daily briefings and disseminate Company information to the team •Hire, train, supervise, and manage Butler Services employees •To Implement standardized systems, operational tools or execute outlet audits •Implement operational strategies to ensure quality and productivity.•Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. •Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: •At least 3 years’ experience in hotel operations/hospitality in 5 star hotel / cruise/ well known property •Bachelor Degree or equivalent working experience •Equivalent professional training is preferred•Excellent interpersonal /presentation skills are preferred•Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results•Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of performance and exceed targets •Strong organizational and planning skills •Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint •Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multifaceted projects and of working under pressure •Proactive and innovative problem solver •Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees •Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment.•Fluent in English •Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage •Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Able to multi-task.

Comments: (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment forty (40) hours per week. Work hours start from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. (3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). (6) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, the employer will supply workers at no charge all safety clothing and equipment and will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. (7) HOUSING The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. (8)The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
