Job Title: Accountant
Job Duties: Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Develop, implement, modify, and document record-keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Compute or assists in computation of taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements. Assists in preparing the companys annual budget based on analysis of companys past and present financial performance, economic trends, and annual financial strategic plan in order to forecast future revenues and expenditures. Oversees the companys bookkeeping function by the companys bookkeeping staff in compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries for the companys general ledger accounts and in distributing expenditures, encumbrances, receipts and receivables. Prepares the monthly Gross Receipts Tax Returns, CNMI and Federal quarterly wage reports, and payroll tax distributions. Prepares or oversees the preparation by the bookkeeping staff of the payroll and payroll tax distributions. Recommends and implements improvements to accounting and accounting control procedures. Examines and evaluates financial and information systems and recommend controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.

Qualification Requirements: U.S. BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ACCOUNTANCY OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENCE IS REQUIRED IN THIS POSITION. MUST BE A U.S. CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENCE. WITH AT LEAST FOUR YEARS RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. KNOWLEDGEABLE IN ALL ASPECTS OF ACCOUNTING. HAS A SOLID TRACK RECORD OF ACCOUNTING WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST HAVE SUPERVISORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. CAN WORK UNDER PRESSURE. PROFICIENT IN USING PEACHTREE AND QUICKBOOKS BUSINESS ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, AND MS OFFICE. CAN WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS. MUST BE HONEST, LOYAL, TRUSTWORTHY, AND HAS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
