Job Duties: Job Summary: This position assists in receiving, storing, picking and shipping of merchandise, tools, equipment and collaterals for the Travelr Shop; ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. This position includes transporting to and from all locations and usage any of the company’s heavy equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving • Assist in unloading and break down of inbound merchandise from vendor and assist with receiving merchandise. • Receives and counts merchandise. Reports any discrepancies to the Team Lead. • Safely operate a variety of power equipment to transport product. • Tags Merchandise accurately and to tagging standards. Picking • Accurately pick products from variety of merchandise, including shelving, fixtures, collaterals, supplies as per each retail locations request. Packing • Organize and properly pack, “picked” merchandise, shelving, fixtures, collaterals, supplies • Each picking must have proper documents to ship out to retail shop. Truck • Safely operate a variety of power equipment to transport merchandise, including shelving, fixtures, collaterals, supplies as per each retail location request. Inventory Control/Quality Control • Participate and assist in semi-annual inventories, cycle counting and proper inter-store transferring by delivering and submitting receiving documents. • Assist with any maintenance that each stores request of. • Picking up cash sales deposits from all locations on a consistent basis and promptly delivering them to the company’s bank. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers. Operate company vehicles. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Regular Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Hours of work and days may vary. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
