| Job Duties: | Remove corroded or damaged steel plates and pipes by using O2/ACY or plasma cutters or power or hand tools. Fabricate steel & pipe inserts. Renew steel plate & pipe sections by welding in new section. Perform all such work and tests/inspections as required by the representative of the USCG and ABS. Clean all new and disturbed surfaces to ensure free of dirt, grease and flash rust. Apply one base coat one top coat of paint to new and disturbed area. The welder shall not perform any hot work without a fire watch. |

| Fringe Benefits: | This is a temporary,full-time position with working hours from 8AM to 5PM with an hour meal break from Monday to Friday. O/T is generally not anticipated but If & when required it will be performed on Saturday only. Three-Fourths Guaranteed as per the requirement of 20 CFR 655.423(f). Employer will provide transportation and subsistence free of charge to and from the place of employment. Workman's Compensation is provided as required by law. This job opportunity offers Welders to work and live on the vessel as the vessel will be located in Saipan harbor. Board & Lodging is free. Employer will provide launch service to and from shore free of charge as per the launch schedule. Employee are required to keep their living spaces clean and tidy at all times to the satisfaction of the Master. |
