Job Title: | Commercial Cleaner |
Job Duties: | Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain private households or commercial establishments, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming. Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies. Clean rooms, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Perform other related duties as assigned or required. |

Qualification Requirements: | NEED ANYWHERE ONE YEAR OF WORKING WITH EXPERIENCED EMPLOYEES. DEPENDABLE ATTENDANCE, HARD WORKING AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS WELL. MUST BE DETAILED ORIENTED, RESPONSIBLE, INTERPERSONAL SKILLS. MUST GET ALONG WITH PEOPLE THEY PROVIDE SERVICES FOR, POLITE AND FRIENDLY. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEND MANY HOURS ON THEIR FEET SCRUBBING, BENDING, STOOPING, AND STRETCHING. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT OR MOVE UP TO 50 POUNDS. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS AND DAYS. |

Comments: | The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on November 1, 2019 to October 31, 2020. THREE-FORTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place or work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment or employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.
