Job Title: IT Support - Network & Telecommunication
Job Duties: •Design network/telecommunication solutions with reliable connectivity to support application systems including resilient features for High Availability and Disaster Recovery. •Support the installation and maintenance of core/edge/firewall/remote network equipment and facilities in accordance with defined procedures. •Manage network security and administer access accounts with different privileges according to security policies and service level standards. •Monitor and report performance of network/telecommunication including issues on a regular basis. •Re-configure and fine-tune server/network architecture in cooperation with the System Operation & Technical Support team for optimal cost effective performance. •Liaise with vendor on matters related to network/telecommunication installation and maintenance. •Handle and report any unsolved issues to management in a timely manner. •Provide second-level support to Service Desk for network/telecommunication infrastructure issues. •Evaluate new network/telecommunication technology and produce relevant reports. •Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per department and company standards at all times. •Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. •Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: •High school diploma or above. •Minimum 2 years in network/telecommunication development and operations in a sizable enterprise. •Hands on expertise with network/telecommunication installation, administration and maintenance. • Preferred certifications of: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Network Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA), Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) certifications preferred. •Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal and Communication skills. •Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. •Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position •Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures •Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written •Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. •May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Comments: (1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. (2) WORK HOURS Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment forty (40) hours per week. Work hours start from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. (3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. (4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. (5) FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). (6) PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, the employer will supply workers at no charge all safety clothing and equipment and will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. (7) HOUSING The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. (8)The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
