Job Duties: | • Provide assistance to family care providers to meet the Child Care and Development Fund’s (CCDF) and Child Care Licensing Program’s (CCLP) requirements for home based care on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. • Coordinate and facilitate training and professional development activities for home based child care providers, families, and the community. • Provide support around health and safety standards and developmentally appropriate practices for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children. • Support a partnership among CCDF, CCLP, and other agencies (e.g. WIC, Early Intervention, MCHB, etc.) to assist families in accessing community resources. • Develop strong formal community relationships to build capacity for families. • Facilitate the implementation of best practices for family engagement. • Serve as the key support resource for strategies for engaging families. • Provide ongoing follow-up support through phone, email, and home visits to support families’ efforts to meet CCDF and CCLP requirements. • Oversee all family and community outreach activities on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. • Maintain program records and data as needed and requested. |

Qualification Requirements: | • Minimum high school diploma. • Able to manage confidential information appropriately. • Knowledge and competence in activity planning/ coordinating. • Ability to communicate with adults in a positive and proactive manner. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member. • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with people of various cultural, social, and educational backgrounds. • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Able to travel to Tinian, Rota, and the mainland US. • Written and oral proficiency in English. • Have reliable transportation • Preference given to fluent speakers and writers of Chamorro and/ or Carolinian. The ideal candidate must have excellent work ethics and an open mind to learn. |
