Job Duties: | Oversee the general operation of the multi-lingual Guest Relations including the concierge and front desk. Assist in training newly hired staff on their responsibilities, procedures, functions and any changes. Assist in coordination with other departments; especially housekeeping, reservations, accounting, guest relations, guest services and engineering. Ensures that daily, weekly and monthly reports and logs are prepared, complete and kept up to date. (i.e. inventory, back-up list, absentee/tardy reports, front desk log book, key log, and registration cards). Ensures the necessary arrangements for daily arrivals and departures are prepared, including room assignments and blocking, reviewing for possible errors and approving any necessary changes, especially for groups. Answer guest complaints. Collaborate with management to develop and carry out idea and procedures, and set goals to continuously improve department performance. Assist and cater to VIP, special request by allocating in foreign language translations as needed. |

Comments: | This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning September 18, 2020 to September 17, 2021. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)). Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(K)). This is a non-exempt position and is eligible to receive overtime compensation in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
