| Job Duties: | Operates imaging system to electronically assemble images. Enters digitized data, such as artist's lay-out, text, page dimension, and lay-out instructions, into electronic imaging system computer memory using components of system such as scanner, camera, keyboard, or mouse or load floppy disks or tapes containing information into system. Views monitors for visual presentation of work in progress and for instruction and feedback throughout process. Activates options, such as masking or text processing: enters data such as background, color, shapes and coordinates of images and retrieves data from system memory to assemble elements on media. Retrieves images from system memory, activates option, such as masking, pixel (picture element) editing airbrushing or image retouching: and enters data such as coordinates of images and color specifications, into system to retouch and make color corrections. Saves completed work on data storage media or magnetic tape. May create special effecs, such as vignettes, mosaics and image combining. Must know how to use CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photo Shop and Flexi Sign making software. |
