| Job Duties: | Sells variety of souvenir items in sales establishments. Provide customers with product samples and catalogs. Plan, assemble, and stock product display in stores or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs and advertising. Helps customers (retailers) select product to meet customer's needs. Negotiate with the retailers about the prices and terms of sale. Arrange and direct delivery of the product to the designated stores. Negotiate with the retail merchant to improve the product exposure such as the positioning of the product and its promotion techniques. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor's product, prices and sales. Examine the defective items returned by the customer(retailer) to determine if the replacement is needed. Answer questions regarding the product. Always check the availability of the product in the stock in the warehouse. Visit and check the retail stores(customers) from time to time to improve the kind of the item they need in the store. Forward orders to the production staff to prepare the scheduled delivery to designated stores who places an order. Monitor inventories of the product available in the market. Prepares sales contracts and order forms. |
