Job Title: Yard Worker
Job Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property on a daily basis. Report to Management any discrepancies of equipment or requests. Keep outdoor premises in a neat order. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, planting, watering, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and other duties assigned. Operate powered equipment such as mowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Care for established lawns. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks and parking areas. Take out weeds and dead plants. Apply pesticides to remove harmful insects. Uphold the landscaping design and ensure plant growth. Does other duties as assigned from time to time.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Experience in a landscaping or grounds keeping role. Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers. Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance. High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Good stamina and physical health. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Able to take direction and follow instructions. Must be able to work early shifts as this may be requested from time to time. Must be able to work holidays and weekends on short notice.

Comments: The place of employment will be at Oleai, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
