| Job Duties: | Prepares food orders from customers by reading the kitchen receipt and cook it according to company standard s. Set up his/her working area by providing enough stock supply for the whole day operation. Check and maintain the cleanliness and completeness of the equipment on his/her working area. Inspect food preparation and serving areas. Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food handling practices. Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking, Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. Portion, arrange, and garnish food and serve food to waiters or patrons. Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters. Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. Bake, roast, Broil and steam m eats, fish, vegetables and other foods. Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for for consumption. Practice FIFO with all the premixes, pastry and dairy products. Performs standard opening a nd closing procedures on her/his working area by cleaning and sanitizing her/his working area and its equipments. Perform other duties assigned by the manager or general manager. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have at least 12 months. or 1-yr of experience as cook. Must be flexible in schedule which includes early morning, afternoon and late evening or weekends or holidays. Previous cafe work experience is a plus.Must have a positive attitude and be always pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude. Must possess a passion for cooking. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability. Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable. Must maintain composure, controlling anger, and aggressive behavior even in very difficult situations. Must be honest and ethical. Requires working with others. |
