| Job Duties: | -Assists with managing and directing staff members and the construction, operations, or maintenance activities at project site. -Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to engineering personnel. -Inspect project sites and structures to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards -Estimates quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility -Prepare structural calculations and specifications using UBC, ACI 318, IBC, NDS, ASD, AISC and other applicable codes and standards to attain earthquake and wind resistant buildings and structures -Prepares structural designs and AutoCADD/Revit drawings of different industrial buildings, commercial buildings, bridges, water tanks, towers, houses, hospitals, schools, etc., using steel, masonry, and wood as structural materials -Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geological data to plan projects -Prepare or present public reports on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statement, or property and right-of-way description and easements. -Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide constructions |
