Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Duties: Operate, drive and maintain boom trucks, forklifts, and other delivery trucks in the right direction or angle to prevent and avoid accident and damages of equipment. Assist customer to hoist and transfer materials to the selected or designated place. Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order and inform the mechanic for major repair and maintenance occur. Maintain proper coordination and cooperation with the road and transport system while driving in order normal delivery of materials will not be disrupted. Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy. Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required. Drive in adherence for appropriate safe practice procedure in transporting goods and hazardous materials and follow traffic rules and regulation. Assist warehouse staff to load materials at the delivery truck to be transported at the place of delivery. Assist warehouse staff to unload materials at the container for storage.

Qualification Requirements: Familiar with construction materials with at least 12 months working experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Related skills and knowledge are required to this position and must have a valid local driver license when operating or driving the delivery truck. Must have a potential to acknowledge easily from the supervisor instruction concerning when and where the delivery will occur. Must have a promising experience for safety driving when some emergency or special conditions occur. Must have broad knowledge of loading and unloading construction materials, emergency boom truck repairing and safety hoisting of heavy equipment with heavy loading. Understanding and speaking both English,Chinese, or Filipino language to communicate with local and foreign customers warmly is preferable. Fast worker, honest with good moral character when dealing with the customer. Willing to work on flexible hours even at weekend or holidays.

Comments: This job opportunity is a full-time position commencing on October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2023. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
