Job Title: Guest Relations Officer
Job Duties: Greet, register and assists guests with inquiries. Make and Confirm Reservations. Record guests’ comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary. Makes dining and other reservations for patrons, and obtain tickets for events. Provides information about local features, such as shopping, dining, nightlife, or recreational destinations. Makes travel arrangements for sightseeing or other tours. Promote and arrange amenities and event for VIP guest and special events. Receives, stores, or delivers luggage or mail to guests. Picks up and deliver items or run errands for guests, as needed. Oversees cleanliness of the lobby and entrances of the hotel partnership with Housekeeping department. Carries out unusual requests, such as searching for hard-to-find items. Arranges for the replacement of items lost by travelers. Serves as an interpreter or translator when guests require such services. Ability to stand during the entire shift. Plans special events, parties, and meetings, which may include booking musicians or celebrities to appear. Assist the front desk when needed. Performs clerical tasks on a temporary basis when needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Two years of work experience. Proficient in languages of Korean or Chinese or Russian is required due to the demographic of visitors/tourist to Saipan.

Comments: This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Deductions: Employer provided housing is optional for the cost of $100.00 per month (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)). Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(K)). This is a non-exempt position and is eligible to receive overtime compensation in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
