| Job Duties: | Directs overall operation of business and related matters in diving activities and lodging. Directs and coordinates necessary workflow of a busy training facility. Requirement in management include ability to work in a distracting, fast-paced environment and adapt to changes; must possess excellent client / customer-service and interpersonal communication skills; must maintain meticulous record and files, and be computer literate (i.e. familiar with recent versions of Microsoft office and internet programs); basic understanding for concept of laws and regulations a plus. Requirement in diving instruction include ability to train scuba diving instructor candidates and CPR instructor candidates; teach sports and diving activities to individuals or group s by explaining and demonstrating principle techniques and movement of body , hands or feet to achieve proficiency in activities, explain and demonstrate the use of scuba diving by the standard of N.A.U.I., and guide and accompany them in diving tour, etc. Consulting knowledge and marketing skill for boat building a plus. Must be college graduate with at least 4 yrs. management experience in the diving field required, 5years preferred Must possess Certification (NAUI) as Dive Instructor trainer for community (5-10yrs experience preferred), Specialty trainer (with minimum 2 yrs. experience and as CPR instructor for community First Aid and Safety. Certification as Course Director, a plus. Proficiency in Japanese language (both oral and written) critical. |
