Job Title: Waitress
Job Duties: Greet guests and escorting them to the tables. Responsible for taking reservation and seats for the guests. Take orders and serve food and beverage to patrons. Serves meals to patrons according to the established rules and etiquette. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Collects payments from customers. Write customer food or beverage on an order slip, memorize orders, or enter orders on computer for transmittal to kitchen staff. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs. Check customer identification to ensure that they meet the minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverage. Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendation upon request. Arranging and cleaning tables or counters after patrons have finished dining and wiping down condiments and replenishment if necessary. Prepare, mix and chill drinks for customers. Garnishes and decorates preparatory to serving. Perform other task as determined and assigned by the Department Head.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma/GED. At least three month of work related experienced. Active Listening by giving full understanding to what the customer needs by writing food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. Service Oriented person in a way like preparing checks that itemize and total meal costs. Speaking effectively in presenting menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. Social perceptiveness and monitoring skills by checking customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Coordination between the kitchen and the dining room and any customer service issues. All interested applicants (U.S Citizen, Foreign Worker, etc. ) must be able to obtain a Food Handler Certification and Alcohol License Certification. Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 01, 2020 to September 30, 2021. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: required by 20 CFR655.423(j)(l); If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h).
