Job Duties: Installs, services, maintains and modifies Siemens laboratory diagnostic equipment at customer sites, primarily in the clinical laboratory.

Qualification Requirements: Applicants must have an Associate's degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology; 12 months experience in medical laboratory equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting; and is certified to service Siemens laboratory equipment.

Comments: Plus Marketing, Inc. is looking to fill two (2) Field Service Technician positions in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. This job opportunity is open to U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents. Work will be performed only at the Commonwealth Health Center, Hinemlu Road, Garapan, Saipan, MP 96950. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time employment, commencing on 09/14/2020 to 09/13/2021. Terms and Conditions of Employment: Worker will be paid no less than $16.27 an hour. Overtime may be available at $24.41 an hour. Employer will offer 40 hours of work per week, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Transportation: Company vehicle will be provided to worker for daily use at no expense to employee. Inbound/Outbound Transportation: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation, and will reimburse the worker for subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. Board, Lodging and Other Facilities: Employer will provide housing at no expense to employee, and employer provided housing is optional. Tools, Equipment and Supplies: The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. 3/4th Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. The employer will not provide on the job training. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker (but need not to include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).
