| Job Duties: | Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment. Recommend or initiate personnel actions such as hires, promotions, transfers, disciplinary measures. Confer with personnel such as management, engineering to coordinate work activities and monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of materials to ensure adequate working conditions. Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations using equipment such as hand power tools, hydraulic presses or shears or welding equipment. Participate in budget preparation and administration, coordinating purchasing and documentation and monitoring departmental expenditures. Interpret specifications, blueprints or job orders to construct templates and lay out reference points for workers. Meet with vendors or suppliers to discuss products used in repair work. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Education: minimum US diploma/degree required: Associate's in any related field or Work experience: number of months required: 24 months; Special Requirements: Must have knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Must have the ability to interpret blueprints, specifications or diagrams. Must be knowledgeable of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures and equipment to the design and operational services. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as necessary. Must be proficient in the use of MS Programs and other computer software and hardware. Must be able to articulate reports and recommendations effectively. |
