Job Title: Logistics Manager
Job Duties: Provide appropriate, consistent, and timely communication with internal personnel and management. Work with Operations Managers to address and resolve issues (shipment delays, rejections, etc.) in a timely manner. Dispatch shipments to carriers by following customers service requirements. Monitor shipments to confirm pickups and deliveries are moving as scheduled. Monitor carrier performance and report carrier failures. Maintain productive working relationships with carriers. Request rates from carriers; negotiate best rate possible to move load. Process shipment details in our client's IT system for contract execution. Actions include, but not limited to: select proper contracts, document shipment details, select proper inventory, collect and record shipped weights and pertinent information from suppliers. Communicate and monitor with the team of drivers, plant managers and inside operations staff to make sure there are no issues or problems in the day to day delivery system. Assist the sales and management team in terms of solving any internal customer problems. Prepare the teams work schedule and assign daily workloads. Monitor the computer dispatching system for maximum efficiency; interview, hire, train and develop the internal dispatching team. Interact with department and team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively. Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications. Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Bachelors degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines. Three (3) years experience in logistics management, building management, business operation management, or related fields. Advanced analytical skills Excel (vba, pivot tables, macros, etc.), preparing presentations, updating reports, and eventually building automated reports. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word. Understands how personal actions impact the customer and our client's relationship. Able to multi-task. Willing to work beyond normal business hours in case of operation need.

Comments: [1] EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. [2] WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. Work hours start from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. [3] THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. [4] INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. [5] FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). [6] TOOLS, SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT: Workers will be provided at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, workers will be supplied at no charge all safety clothing and equipment. Company will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. [7] HOUSING: The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. [8] EMPLOYEE MEAL: The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
