Job Title: Construction Carpenter
Job Duties: Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws. Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools. Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob and level. Select and order lumber or other required materials. Arrange for subcontractors to deal with special areas, such as heating or electrical wiring work. Maintain records, document actions, and present written progress reports. Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenters' Hand tools, or power tools. Erect scaffolding or ladders for assembling or ladders for assembling structure above ground levels. Inspect ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures. Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue. Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools. Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses or buildings, using paint, hand tools, or paneling. Apply shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, or decorative paneling to ceilings or walls. Cover subfloors with building paper to keep out moisture and lay hardwood, parquet, or wood-strip-block floors by nailing floors to Subfloor or cementing them to mastic or asphalt base. Fill cracks or other defects in plaster or platerboard and sand patch, using patching plaster, trowel, and sanding tool. Perform minor plumbing, welding or concrete mixing work. Prepare cost estimates for clients and employers. Construct forms or chutes for pouring concrete. Work with or remove hazardous material.

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma / GED. One (1) year on-the-job experience as an Carpenter is a minimum requirement for this position. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. There are three rotating shifts per day from Monday to Sunday: (A) Day Shift will be from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (B) Swing Shift will be from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. (C) Night Shift will be from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Comments: [1] EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position. [2] WORK HOURS: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment thirty-five (35) hours per week. [3] THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual fist date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. [4] INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: The Employer shall pay for all inbound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. [5] FIRST WORK WEEK REIMBURSEMENT: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). [6] TOOLS, SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT: Workers will be provided at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Furthermore, workers will be supplied at no charge all safety clothing and equipment. Company will require all workers to wear such clothing and equipment always during work. [7] HOUSING: The employer will provide optional housing at $25.00 per week, during the employment. [8] EMPLOYEE MEAL: The employees will be provided one (1) duty meal per day at no expense for the duration of the employment.
