Job Title: Guest Service Agent
Job Duties: Greet, register and assign rooms to guest of hotels or motels. Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guest report problems Issue room keys and escort instruction to bellhops Make and confirm reservations Verify customers credit & establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation Keep records of room availability & guest accounts manually or using computers Post charges such as those for rooms, food, liquor or telephone calls to ledger, manually or using computers Review accounts and charges with guest during the check out process Record guest comments or complaints referring customers to manager, if necessary Compute bills, collect payments and make charge for guests Transmit inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration and travel directions or make recommendation regarding shopping, dining or entertainment Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts & conducting nightly audits Clean and maintain lobby and common areas as restocking supplies & watering plants Prepare for basic food service such as setting up continental breakfast or coffee & tea supplies Date-stamp, sort and rack incoming mail and messages Arrange tours, taxis, or restaurant reservations for customers Deposit guest valuables in hotel safes or safe deposit boxes

Qualification Requirements: Education: minimum US diploma /degree required.* HIGH SCHOOL/GED. Must have 12months of work experience as Guest Service Agent. Knowledge and experience is required for these occupation. Assign room and keep record of room availability, confirm reservation. Post charges of room, food, liquor,telephone calls, compute bills, payment and other charges. Clean, maintain lobby and common areas. Arrange tours, taxis & restaurant reservation for customer. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, record guest comment or complaints, refer to manager if necessary. Must be fluent in Korean (Both reading & speaking) flexible and can drive.

Comments: The job opportunity is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from December 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021. Terms & Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or its extension, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily Transportation: Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: Workers will be provided with board, lodging or other facilities and/or employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by Local CNMI and Federal Tax law.
