Job Title: Accounting Technician
Job Duties: Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze information. Prepare accounting entries account as to receipt and expenditures. Prepare payroll entries, disbursements. Prepare check payments to vendor and other payable. Prepare billing to clients, receive and post payments, deposit collections received to company's bank account Prepare cash positions, report and summary of receivables Reconcile records of bank transaction and other financial transactions Prepare tax related information, Monthly FICA, 941-SS Quarterly Fica Report, monthly, quarterly Withholding Tax, Annual Recon of Taxes Withheld, Monthly Business Gross Tax Return Receipt (BGRT) Annual Tax Return and other revenue report. Assist construction operations including client inquiries, file management and other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Education: minimum U.S. Diploma required.* - ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE. with 24 months of work experience required. Must have knowledge in accounting software such as Quickbooks and Peachtree Computer literate and have excellent written and verbal communication skill. Must Be able to drive. Prepare accounting entries account as to receipts/expenditures, payroll, billing, disbursements, check disbursements and payables /collection, cash position. Deposit collections Reconcile record of bank transaction. Taxes preparations monthly, qtrly & annual tax report and file management.

Comments: The job opportunity is a TEMPORARY, full-time position commencing November 17 2020 to September 30, 2021. Terms & Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or its extension, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily Transportation: Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: Workers will be provided with board, lodging or other facilities and/or employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by Local CNMI and Federal Tax law.
