| Job Duties: | Landscapes and maintains grounds of company and customer’s property. Duties include, but are not limited to, the use of hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, clippers, saws, hedge or brush trimmers and axes; operate vehicles and powered equipment including standard transmission trucks, push and ride-on power mowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, backhoes, bobcats, soil screens, and pruning saws; water lawns, trees, and plants; prune and trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saws; prepare, mix, spray and spread fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides and insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders; care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, and trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls; trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds; plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground cover, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection using gardening tools; mow and edge lawns using power mowers and edgers; rake, mulch, and compost leaves and plant cuttings; decorate gardens with stones or plants; use irrigation methods to adjust the amount of water consumption and to prevent waste; install and maintain irrigation systems; provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, fountains, planters, burial or other grounds features; plant and cultivate lawns or gardens; maintain or repair tools and equipment, including brush cutters, sod cutters, chain saws, leaf blowers, power mowers, water pumps, and generators; maintain and repair structures, including buildings, greenhouses, fences, and benches using hand and power tools; install rock gardens, ponds, decks, drainage systems, retaining walls, fences and planters; care for natural turf fields, making sure the underlying soil has the required composition to allow proper drainage and to support the grasses used on the fields; advise customers on plant selection and care; haul and spread topsoil; transplant large trees and shrubs; and install equipment to support large trees and other plants. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Three (3) months experience is required. U.S. and foreign workers must be physically fit and capable of performing physically demanding tasks all day, outside, in all kinds of weather and work environments including hot, wet, windy, uneven terrain and noise. Skills and tasks include, but are not limited to, handling and moving large and heavy objects; controlling machines using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines; performing general physical activities such as climbing trees and ladders, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials; inspecting equipment, repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment; communicating effectively with customers and providing information about landscaping services and costs. |

| Comments: | Comments: This Landscaping and Groundskeeping Worker job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position with two (2) job openings available. All application materials will then be sent out by email. Interviews will be conducted Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM, or outside those hours by arrangement. Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
