Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Duties: Document quantity, quality and value of products to maintain shipping and receiving records and files. Examine products or materials, parts and packaging for damage, defects or shortages. Signal or instruct other workers to move or check products. Maintain, monitor and clean work areas. Compare product labels, tags or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents and quality specifications. Remove from stock products not meeting quality standards and notify supervisors of discrepancies or shortages. Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution utilizing both digital and physical counting of merchandise. Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures. Manage & maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies of merchandise are available from stock. Notify store management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability. Provide reports regularly to store management on both low-stock inventory and surplus inventory. Inspect returned merchandise for damage, separating the products which can be resold from those which cannot, and then re-entering the re-sellable items in the company’s main inventory.

Qualification Requirements: High School/GED graduate with at least twelve (12) months of work experience as Inventory Specialist. Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and ability to learn and use DDMS software. Knowledge of mathematical principles and skill in their use to include basic budget management. Skills in organizational & time management. Skills in written and verbal communication. Ability to pay attention to detail, to maintain a calm and methodical working style and to multitask under pressure. Ability to learn and use ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and data entry systems. Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting. Ability to use a computer and type with proficiency. Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays & overtime.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on March 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
