Job Title: Store Manager
Job Duties: Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services to customers. Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised. Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods. Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales. Assign employees to specific duties. Ensure records of purchases, sales and requisitions are maintained. Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees’ work schedules and time cards. Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget department. Establish operational policies and develop marketing plans or strategies. Maintain a high standard of merchandising, placement, store signage and proper display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers. Monitor local competition carefully & frequently in order to maintain consistently competitive & attractive prices on the fastest moving store items and on high-profile slow movers. Monitor product trends and combine knowledge of customer needs with product trends.

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma with at least twelve (12) months of work experience as a Store Manager. Proficient in MS Office application such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher and must be able to learn and use company’s existing ERP software system. Knowledge of office and school products. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources management, leadership techniques, production methods and coordination of people and resources. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services. Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems. Ability to communicate with others to convey information effectively. Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems. Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business including events, holidays, weekends and overtime. Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multitasking skills. Demonstrated ability to lead by example and to give clear directions and set expectations for staff.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on March 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022 THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
