Job Title: Engineering Manager
Job Duties: Monitors and maintains inventory control of supplies for the department. Confers and coordinates with management personnel in formulating the department’s administrative and operational policies and procedures. Responsible in handling all administrative, operational and regulatory compliance matters for the department. Responsible for ensuring the departments’ safety and security by applying technical knowledge on relevant powerhouse equipment, policies and procedures and strategies to protect all the employees, guests, data and the entire property. Performs periodic, walk through visual inspections of all property assets to determine condition, establish maintenance priorities and highlight areas where need for improvement exists. Ensure building maintenance staff is properly trained to operate tools and equipment for each job function. Ensure all work orders and projects are completed. May perform maintenance and repair work on the interior and exterior of building, hotel ground, room, and contents, laundry and kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation, and water treatment systems, and employee staff housing. Perform preventive maintenance and remediate any hazardous situations. Review employee performance and disciplinary actions for building maintenance staff. Responsible for the overall management of the powerhouse operations and applies technical knowledge on 3512 Caterpillar generators, 85 kw Aqua Design Desalination plants, chiller systems, pumps and filtration systems for swimming pools.

Qualification Requirements: Associates Degree in Engineering and 48 months of work experienced in Engineering. Previous experienced in leadership role in resort/waterpark setting. Able to lift 15 lbs. bend, stretch and twist, sit or stand for long periods of time, climb multiple flights of stairs on daily basis and walk frequently. Must have previous experience in leadership role in resort/waterpark setting. Must be able to work under a flexible schedule work schedule including early morning hours, evenings, weekends, holidays and increment weather. Previous experience in management of maintenance/engineering specific to electrical, plumbing, HVAC system, ventilation system and carpentry.

Comments: This a temporary, full-time position of at least 40 hours per work week with employment period beginning March 22, 2021 to March 21, 2022. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Deductions: Employer provided housing is optional for the cost of $100.00 per month (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)). Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(K)).
