| Job Title: | MAINTENANCE WORKER |
| Job Duties: | Fix and maintain kitchen machinery, equipment and facility. Paint, repair flooring, work on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems. Essential Job Details: (a) Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting kitchen equipment and tools used for operations, inspecting facilities and building structures, or other preventive maintenance actions to determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. (b) Troubleshoot and determine causes of operating errors and diagnose problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Escalate work that require expertise of an electrician, carpenter, HVAC mechanic, plumber or other licensed tradesperson. (c) Assemble, install, repair, fix or replace faulty wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. (d) Work with vendors/suppliers to estimate costs to repair machinery, equipment, or building structures. Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers. (f) Keep detailed record of type and cost of maintenance or repair work. |
