| Job Duties: | Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations; adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests; establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate those objectives to students; establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students; communicate and meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and to determine priorities for their children and their resource needs; support the Catholic identity of the school by attending religious functions; begin each class period with a prayer; teach in harmony with the philosophy and Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLR) and in conformity with the rules and regulation stated in the school handbook; attend and participate in parent/teacher organization meetings; attend and participate in meetings and professional development programs; and perform other duties as assigned (supervision, mentoring/coaching extra curricular adviser/coach, etc.). |
