Job Title: Bookkeeping
Job Duties: Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations. Operate 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents. Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers. Code documents according to company procedures. Perform financial calculations, such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal. Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in the records. Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence. Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts. Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers. Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software. Match order forms with invoices, and record the necessary information. Perform personal bookkeeping services. Prepare and process payroll information. Prepare bank deposits by compiling data from cashiers, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to banks. Compute deductions for income and social security taxes. Calculate and prepare checks for utilities, taxes, and other payments. Reconcile records of bank transactions. Compare computer printouts to manually maintained journals to determine if they match. Transfer details from separate journals to general ledgers or data processing sheets. Complete and submit tax forms and returns, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents. Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures.

Qualification Requirements: A graduate of 2years course in Accounting Associates, or Business Administration Education, Experienced and skills required: Minimum of two (2) years responsible in accounting or bookkeeping experience including payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reports. Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.

Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position with minimum of two (2) years of work experience. Workdays will be Monday to Friday and work hours will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. With this position the employer also offers the three-fourths guarantee as required by 20 CFR 655.423(f) wherein three fourths is defined as an offer to workers full-time employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12- week period (or 6-week period if the employment covered by the job is less than 120 days.) Transportation and Subsistence: If the Employee completes 50 percent of the work contract, the employer will provide or reimburse the worker’s transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Outbound transportation and subsistence costs will be paid by the Employer if the Employee completes the work period covered by the work contract or where the worker dismissed earlier.
