Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Duties: Records company’s wholesale business transactions and retains all accounting records. Posts, verifies and reconciles accounts payables, accounts receivables, expenses, payroll and other ledger accounts. Prepares preliminary financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information. Prepares payroll and payroll taxes and distributions to government. Prepares gross receipts tax returns. Documents business transactions and verifies purchase orders and other financial transactions in order to substantiate the transactions prior to settlement. Maintains and reconciles bank accounts. Uses QuickBooks accounting software program in performing job duties.
High School Diploma Required? Yes
Qualification Requirements: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Marketing Management (may be foreign equivalent); 12 months of experience as a bookkeeper; and 12 months of year experience using QuickBooks. Verification of qualifications required.

Fringe Benefits: Employer paid medical/dental insurance ($251/month); 5 days paid vacation leave after 1 year of employment, 7 days paid vacation leave after 2 years of employment, 10 days paid vacation leave after 3 years of employment; & 5 days paid sick leave per year after completing 90 days from commencement of employment. Worker will be provided with daily transportation to and from worker’s residence to work site.
Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position starting on October 1, 2021 and ending on September 30, 2022. Workdays will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Employer will provide the worker with daily transportation to and from the worker's residence to work site. Housing is optional. At the worker's option, the Employer will assist the worker in securing housing consisting of a bedroom with shared bathroom, shared kitchen, & shared living room/dining space at a monthly rate, excluding utilities, of $200 per bedroom or $100 if 2-person shared bedroom. The worker is responsible for paying for the cost of the housing. No deduction will be made from the worker's pay for the housing. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the workers at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the Employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the Employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the workers originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the Employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
