Job Title: Retail Supervisor
Job Duties: Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers. Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods. Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level. Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales. Hire, train, and evaluate personnel in sales or marketing establishments, promoting or firing workers when appropriate. Assign employees to specific duties. Enforce safety, health, and security rules. Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised. Plan budgets and authorize payments and merchandise returns. Perform work activities of subordinates, such as cleaning and organizing shelves and displays and selling merchandise. Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees' work schedules and time cards. Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget departments. Examine products purchased for resale or received for storage to assess the condition of each product or item. Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for their department. Confer with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business. Estimate consumer demand and determine the types and amounts of goods to be sold. Formulate pricing policies for merchandise, according to profitability requirements. Establish credit policies and operating procedures. Keep records of purchases, sales, and requisitions. Plan and coordinate advertising campaigns and sales promotions and prepare merchandise displays and advertising copy.

Qualification Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. At least 12 months work experience as a Retail Supervisor or similar position. Proficient knowledge of customer service, and standard office practices and procedures. Proficient computer skills. Proficient standard office equipment skills. Communication skills, both written and verbal. Phone etiquette. Organizational skills. Available to work shifts. Must be able to work on holidays and weekends. must take a skilled test during application process: -performing basic calculations for inventory and other work-related recordkeeping. -answering a basic literacy comprehension exam -total passing score is 89% The skill testing and comprehension exam are required equally of both US and Foreign workers.

Comments: The place of employment will be at Garapan, Saipan. Applicants will be reasonably expected to reside within the area of the place of employment to perform the services or labor as advertised. Overtime hours will be applicable at 1.5 x the rate indicated on the JVA The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law, as well as other deductions for selected employee benefits, including health, vision, dental, life insurance and 401 (K) subject to each company’s conditions. The employer guarantees under paragraph (f)(1) to offer each employee employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the employee at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. If a worker voluntarily abandons employment or is terminated for cause, the employer is not required to guarantee three-fourths of the work contract, as provided under Subsection 655.423(f). The employer will provide transportation and subsistence to the employee while traveling from the employee’s origin to the place of employment as well as the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Daily transportation to and from the place(s) of employment will be provided by the employer if applicable. The employer will provide without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(k) Board, lodging, or other facilities the employer will offer to works or tends to assist workers in securing if applicable On the job training will be provided to the worker if applicable.
