Job Duties: | Assist Project Managers with duties necessary to execute a job. Provide support and creates balance in time and scope of executing projects under the direct supervision of the project manager. Takes records of all project items, and sees to it that they are adequately delivered to various departments as directed by the project manager. File and store completed documents on computer hard drive or disk, maintain a computer filing system to store, retrieve, update and delete documents. Assist Project managers with coordination of design or construction projects with subconsultants and clients. Assist project managers with daily document management for design and construction management projects. Transmit work electronically to other locations. |

Qualification Requirements: | 12 months of experience as a PROJECT ASSISTANT is required. Associate/Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Competent knowledge in MS office including MS Project and Bluebeam REVU is required. Certification in Procore Admin, Project Management, Engineer, Quality and Safety and Financial Management is preferred. |

Comments: | HOFSCHNEIDER ENGINEERING CORPORATION is looking to fill one (1) PROJECT ASSISTANT position in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Work will be performed only at 2nd floor, JET Building, Middle Road, Gualo Rai in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill these job openings for employment from 10/01/2021 to 09/30/2024. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Workers will be paid no less than $11.05 per hour. Overtime will be paid at a rate of 1.5 times base hourly rate. The employer will offer 35 hours of work per week, depending on weather conditions. Work on weekends may be required. Hourly work schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Transportation: The employer will not provide daily transportation to and from the worksite locations in Saipan. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: The employer will not provide board, lodging, or other facilities. Tools Equipment & Supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by federal and local law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law. The employer will not provide on-the-job training.
