Job Duties: | Memorize all the recipes and procedures needed to make all the espresso beverages according to company standards. Take and serve food/drink orders from customers according to company standards. Prepare/serve foods such as muffins, bagels and others. Receive and process customer payments. Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them. Clean service tables or seating areas. Clean and sanitize utensils and equipments. Set up his/her working area by providing enough stock supply and premixes for the whole day operation. Check and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation and completeness of the equipments on his/her working area. Read order receipt printed from POS and prepare according to standard recipe. Practice FIFO with all the premixes, pastry and dairy products. Perform standard openings and standard procedures on his/her working and cleaning and sanitizing his/her working area and its equipment. Perform other duties assigned by the manager or general manager. |

Qualification Requirements: | Candidates must have at least 3-months cafe work experience as a Barista, which specializes on serving real espresso beverages. Must be knowledgeable in making real espresso beverages. Must be able to work alone without supervision. Must have Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Must have the ability to listen and to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Must have the ability to speak clearly so others can understand. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. Previous experience would be an asset. Must be flexible in work schedule which includes early morning, afternoon and late evening/ weekends/ holidays. |
