Job Title: | SHIP ELECTRICIAN |
Job Duties: | 1.Take charge of the overhaul and upkeep of all the electrical equipment including generators, motors, switch-boards, electrical meters, electric lines, lights, electric heaters, electrical auto system, wired telephones,and auto alarm etc; 2. Perform regular repair and maintenance 3. Record down all data related to the ship electical machinery performance and issue measurement. 4. Examine all electrical equipment in order prior to ferry's departure and arrival. |

Qualification Requirements: | Applicants required 6-month training & 24-month work experience. Considerable knowledge of operation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment of the ferry. Knowledge to identify and examinate the condition of the electrical & electronic equipment so to repair. Certificate of proficiency to operate on passenger carrying vessel in accordance with STCW. Seafarer identification recordbook & license endorsement Support level: the safety training specified in STCW Code Section A-V/2, paras 1&3. Valid First Aid/CPR Certification and/or ability to obtain and maintain Seafarer fit for duty medical certificates |

Comments: | 1) Employment duration & location: This job opportunity is for a temporary, full time position on shift basis. Work will be performed in the roll on and roll off passenger ship Sand Diamond between Tinian and Saipan without travel requirements. 2) Work hours: Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment approx. 40 hours per week. Normal work hours from 07:00am to 13:00pm. Actual shift schedule shall follow company's crew roster and ferry's operation schedule from Monday to Sunday,3) Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. 4) Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker hired completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the workers' reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment.
