Job Title: | Building Maintenance Repairer |
Job Duties: | Perform skilled repairs & maintenance of commercial and industrial machinery & equipments involving various skills or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipments or other structures of the establishment in repair and good conditions. Duties may involve pipe fitting, insulating, welding machining, carpentry, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment. Installing, aligning and balancing new equipment and repairing building equipments using various wrenches, screw driver, hand or power tools, multi tester, and other mechanical or electrical & electronic testing devices. Knowledgeable in repairing and operating 25KVA-500KVA generators to ensure that they operate efficiently and smoothly. Requisition of materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment or replacement parts. Inspect, troubleshoot service and repair reverse osmosis system to ensure efficient and smooth operations. Schedule and perform routine weekly & monthly maintenance service. Diagnose malfunction issues and make determination repairs. Clean and maintain equipment tanks, filter beds, membranes and backwash pre-filter. Monitor inlet and outlet pressures of RO machine and pre-filter. Inspect for oil and water leaks. Monitor chlorine level in the water and in the tanks. Overhaul high pressure and feed water pumps, change oil for feed water pump. Change membrane media filter and v-belts. Collect water sampling for bacteriological analysis. Troubleshoot system and/or investigate source when there’s a positive hit in the water analysis. Comply with EPA & Commonwealth Drinking Water requirements. Inspect troubleshoot service and repair wastewater treatment plant to ensure efficient and smooth operations. And other related duties and general maintenance works as assigned by the manager. |

Comments: | This is a temporary, full-time position with employment period beginning October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2023, with 35 hour workweek schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. ~ 4:00 p.m. THREE-FOURTH GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workday of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE will be provided to the worker while traveling from the worker’s origin to the place of employment as will the return transportation and subsistence at the conclusion of the job opportunity, as required by 20 CFR 655.423(j)(l).
