Job Duties: | Records and ensures accuracy of invoices due to various vendors and process payments when due. Prepares, examines, or analyzes accounting records, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Establishes new charts of accounts, as necessary and assigns entries to proper accounts. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements. Supervises the General Cashier on AP invoice encoding into MAS 90, F&B tips, lobster and beverage commissions, and filing of paid invoices to their respective vendors. Files and supervises the A/R Accountant in analyzing hotel's various agents/guests accounts and in the month-end close process. Handles reconciliation procedures and/or account balance disputes with vendors and suppliers. Assists the Assistant Accounting Manager, Accounting Manager & Financial Controller on the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and other accounting related tasks |

Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor Degree in Accountancy. At least 48 months of work related experienced. Strong knowledge of Excel and Word and must be knowledgeable in using Opera (Property Management System), Micros Symphony, MAS 90 (integrating the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchase Order, and Inventory Management modules) and Online Bank Business Connection. Able to work weekends, holiday and flexible shits. |

Comments: | This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning October 01, 2021 to September 30, 2022. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Deductions: Employer provided housing is optional for the cost of $100.00 per month (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)). Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(K)). This is a non-exempt position and is eligible to receive overtime compensation in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
