Job Duties: | Check products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods. Set oven temperatures and place items into hot ovens for baking. Measures and mixes ingredients to form dough or batter, using electric mixer or beats and stirs ingredients by hand, shapes dough for cookies, pies, and fancy pastries, places shaped dough portions in greased or floured pans and inserts them in oven. Adjusts drafts or thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperatures; mixes ingredients to make icing. Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets and bake in production ovens or on grills. Set time and speed controls for mixing machines, blending machines, or steam kettles so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions. Observe color of products being baked and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, or conveyor speeds accordingly. Follows prescribes recipes to prepare mousses and flavored gelatins. Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary. Assembles cakes and pastries for daily buffets. Decorate baked goods, such as cakes or pastries. Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, or other products. Order or receive supplies or equipment. Prepare or maintain inventory or production records. Operate slicing or wrapping machines. Develop new recipes for baked goods. Performs other related duties as assigned |

Qualification Requirements: | High School/GED. At least 6 months of work related experienced. Knowledge and experience in hotel/resort as baker is an advantage, must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds; stand for long periods of time. Apprenticeship from recognized technical school preferred. |

Comments: | This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning October 01, 2021 to September 30, 2022. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Deductions: Employer provided housing is optional for the cost of $100.00 per month (20 CFR 655.423(f)). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)). Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(K)). This is a non-exempt position and is eligible to receive overtime compensation in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
