Job Title: Chef De Cuisine
Job Duties: Responsible for creating menus. Designing corresponding recipes and overseeing the preparation of those recipes. Manages all kitchen employees, including stewarding department in matters pertaining to kitchen, pantry and storeroom. Tracks the kitchen's inventory, places orders monitors equipment maintenance and condition. Ensures that a kitchen operates alongside local and federal health and safety codes. Works closely with the front of the house to ensure guest satisfaction. This could mean special dietary menus i.e. low sugar, low salt or preparing a special menu. Complete administrative duties in the absence of the executive chef i.e. maintaining time and payroll records. Familiarizes newly hired chefs and cooks with practices of this properties restaurant and kitchen polices and oversee training of cook apprentices. Supervises cooking and other kitchen personnel and coordinates their assignments to ensure economical and timely food preparation. Takes necessary discipline action when needed. Performs other related duties as required.

Qualification Requirements: High School/GED. At least 24 months of work related experienced. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and flexible shifts. Experienced in preparing multi-ethnic cuisine is required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and/or stand for long periods of time. Hotel/Resort experience preferred.

Comments: This a temporary, full-time position of at least 35 hours per work week with employment period beginning October 01, 2021 to September 30, 2022. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE for Employment offered is for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period of employment specified in the work contract, beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Transportation and subsistence will be provided to the worker from the place of origin to the place of employment. Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)).
