| Job Duties: | Teaches elementary school students academic, social, and motor skills in public or private schools. Prepares course objectives and outline for course of study of following currculum guidelines or requirements of state and school. Lectures, demonstrates, and uses audiovisual teaching aids to present subject matter. Prepares, administers, and correct tests, and record results. Assign lessons, correct papers, and hears oral participation. Teaches rules conduct. Maintain order in classroom and on playground. Counsel pupils when adjustment and academic problem arise. Discuss pupil's academic and behavior attitudes and achievements with parents. Keeps attendance and grade record as required by the school. May coordinate class field trips. may teach combined grade classes. To teach any or all the following subjects such as Math, English, Science and Social Studies, etc. To abide the philosophy of the school. To do all other related studies. |
