Job Title: Greenskeeper Supervisor
Job Duties: Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety. Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, standards, and contract requirements. Direct activities of workers who perform duties such as landscaping,cultivating lawns, or pruning trees and shrubs, and maintain tees and other areas of golf course. Schedule work for staff, depending on work priorities, crew or equipment availability, or weather conditions. Plant or maintain vegetation through activities such as mulching, fertilizing, watering, mowing, or pruning. Ensure proper trimming, grooming, cutting, and maintenance of Golf Course and Hotel landscaping. Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Repair and maintain gasoline engines used to power equipment such as portable saws and lawn mowers. Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF GROUNDS WORK. A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF POWER LAWN MOWER/TRACTOR. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF AND ABILITY TO USE HAND AND POWER TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT. RELIABLE AND PREDICTABLE ATTENDANCE. ABILITY TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN AWARENESS OF OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS; SKILLED IN FOLLOWING SAFETY PRACTICES AND RECOGNIZING HAZARDS. POSSESSION OF A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE TO DRIVE COMPANY VEHICLES. MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE TURF VEHICLES AND MOWERS. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

Comments: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2024. THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total of number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period and begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment of the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE: required by 20 CFR655.423(j)(l); If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide reimburse, or advance payment for the worker's transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon the completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly, subjected to mandatory payroll tax deduction required by law (20 CFR 655.423(h). Upon conclusion of the job opportunity, employer will provide the return transportation and substance to the place of origin or place of recruitment (20 CFR 655.423(k)(1)) Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned (20 CFR 655.423(k)).This is a non-exempt position and is eligible to receive overtime compensation in accordance to The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
