Job Title: STORE BUTCHER
Job Duties: Cut, trim, or prepare consumer-sized portions of meat for use or sale in retail establishments. Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat. Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter, so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper's eye. Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers. Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, to prepare meat in cooking form. Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, to ensure meat quality. Shape, lace, and tie roasts, using boning knife, skewer, and twine. Estimate requirements and order or requisition meat supplies to maintain inventories. Supervise other butchers or meat cutters. Record quantity of meat received and issued to cooks and/or keep records of meat sales. Negotiate with representatives from supply companies to determine order details. Cuts, trims, bones, ties & grinds meats using butchers cutlery and powered equipment such as electric grinder & band saw to portion and prepare meat in cooking form for retail & wholesale sales. Receive, inspect & store meat upon delivery to ensure meat quality. Record quantity of meat received and issued and/or keep records of meat sales. Prepare & place meat cuts and products in display counter so they will appear attractive and catch the shoppers eye. Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers. Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat. Estimate requirements and order or requisition meat supplies to maintain inventories. Clean & sanitize work area. Performs other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? No
Qualification Requirements: Must be able to prepare primal cuts of meat into a variety of smaller cuts intended for sale in a retail environment. Prepare meat products, maintain meat department area and perform special order meat product requests. Must have full knowledge and experience of a meat department operations and skills. Ability to work independently. have at least continuous 3 months of experience at store as butcher.

Comments: 1) EMPLOYMENT BASIS & DURATION. This job opportunity is for a temporary, full-time position,commencing on October 1, 2021 to September 30,2022 2) WORK HOURS. Employees hired under this announcement will work on full time employment at least 40 hours per week. 3)THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE. Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equals at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need,whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. 4) INBOUND/OUTBOUND TRANSPORTATION AND SUBSISTENCE. Upon Completion of the work contract, or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work,except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. 5)PROVISION OF TOOLS, SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT.
