Job Duties: | Plan and prepare employee work schedules. • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner. • Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards. • Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary. • Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems, and to discuss company policies. • Investigate complaints about service and equipment, and take corrective action. • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine the type of work required. • Check and maintain equipment to ensure that it is in working order. • Instruct staff in work policies and procedures, and the use and maintenance of equipment. • Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts. • Select and order or purchase new equipment, supplies, or furnishings. • Prepare reports on activity, personnel, and information, such as occupancy, hours worked, facility usage, work performed, and departmental expenses. • Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency. • Select the most suitable cleaning materials for different types of linens, furniture, flooring, and surfaces. • Issue supplies and equipment to workers. • Recommend or arrange for additional services, such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipment. • Forecast necessary levels of staffing and stock at different times to facilitate effective scheduling and ordering. • Advise managers, desk clerks, or admitting personnel of rooms ready for occupancy. • Supervise in-house services, such as laundries, maintenance and repair, dry cleaning, or valet services. |

Comments: | This is a TEMPORARY, full-time position and we are looking to fill the job opening for employment from 10/01/2021 to 09/30/2022. Terms & Conditions of Employment: Work on weekends may be required. Hourly work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Transportation: The employer will not provide daily transportation to and from the worksite locations in Saipan. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Three-Fourths Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all the payroll deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by federal and local law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law.
