Job Duties: - Describe tour points of interest to group members, and respond to questions. - Escort individuals or groups on cruises, sightseeing tours, or through places of interest such as industrial establishments, public buildings, or art galleries. - Monitor visitors' activities to ensure compliance with establishment or tour regulations and safety practices. - Provide directions and other pertinent information to visitors. - Select travel routes and sites to be visited based on knowledge of specific areas. - Drive motor vehicles to transport visitors to establishments and tour site locations. - Collect fees and tickets from group members. - Assemble and check the required supplies and equipment prior to departure. - Provide for physical safety of groups, performing such activities as providing first aid or directing emergency evacuations. - Train other guides and volunteers. - Solicit tour patronage and sell souvenirs. - Speak foreign languages to communicate with foreign visitors. - Teach skills, such as proper climbing methods, and demonstrate and advise on the use of equipment.

Qualification Requirements: A high school diploma and 12 months of experience is required for this position. Must be able to communicate with and safely guide non-English speaking tourists from South Korea in their native language of Korean. All of the company's tour customers are Korean tourists and most speak almost no English.

Comments: This job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. The primary place of work is the Saipan Woori Tour agency office on Shoko Drive, San Vicente, Saipan, but the job requires travel throughout various tourist sites within the island of Saipan. The regular work hours will be 9 AM to 6 PM on weekdays, but there may schedule changes and overtime work assigned as needed. * Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any. * Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. *Daily Transportation: If the worker needs daily transportation to and from worksites, workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from worksites in compliance with all applicable Federal and Commonwealth laws and regulations. * Overtime Available: Overtime hours will be available to the worker under this job offer and payable for every hour worked at the rate disclosed in this announcement. * Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. * Board, Lodging, or Other Facilities: If the employee needs assistance in securing board, lodging or other facilities, the employer will assist workers in securing the board, lodging, or other facilities that the employee needs, at reasonable cost to the employee.
